Hey everyone - first post here.
Ive searched the forums to see if I could find a similar problem to the one I am having and I haven't.

So here is my issue - I have an un-modded 360 arcade 20gig. I have an Xbox Live gold acct. and I have a 2meg connection connected via lan cable.
when watching netflix the movie gets interrupted in order to retrieve more of the movie...it does this to the point that it is annoying. Its like the buffer runs out and has to fill again.  It will also do this when watching clips that are not on netflix but on xbox live itself. Game trailers etc...
Anyone have a similar issue or even a fix?

Any insight to this is really appreciated!

Thanks

E-H//

I cant believe no one else is experiencing the same issue as I. What gives?

That's because it's on your end, bud.
Your setup/router, who knows, it's not the xbox itself.
There are too many variables to even get into here.
LOL turn off uTorrent lol

For the most part having a large bandwidth will help with streaming, but like Takashi said, there are a lot of variables.

Your ISP could be limiting traffic on that particular port(s), other applications could be sucking bandwidth, etc.

Try turning off all network devices in your home, reboot your modem/router, and let it fully establish links again.
Once done, boot the Xbox and try to watch NetFlix. This may or may not solve the issue, but it's a good step.

With a slower connection you will get the lag/load times. I had these issues with the local phone company. They told me I was at their highest connection, 1.5. I went with cable and am at around 20mb now. No more lag with Netflix.

i'd say its your 2meg connection, thats a little lowly like others said, and you probably dont even get that.

try speedtest.net and see if youre even getting 2meg down.
