Corrupted Video After Transfer From Old Hdd
« on: March 29, 2009, 01:41:00 PM »

Before we begin, I've tried searching, but have not found an exact remedy/explanation for this situation.

I am trying to copy the "pack-in videos" (titanic/adidas/welcome/etc) from the original 20gb hdd to my current 120gb hdd, but the videos come up as Corrupted when I view them in the memory screen of the 360 dash. I'm wondering if the videos have some sort of DRM on them. My question is, is there a way to check if there is DRM on the pack-in videos from an old 20gb hdd and to remove the DRM?

I used Xplorer360 to make a full hdd backup of the old hdd (pre-NXE) many months ago, then proceeded to delete the videos from the 20gb hdd to save on space. I've since used the MS hdd transfer kit to transfer the existing 20gb data to the 120gb (with NXE). Today I opened up the Xplorer360 backup image of the 20gb hdd and copied the pack-in videos to the FFFFE07D1\00090000 folder of the 120gb hdd, and they are coming up as Corrupted.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
