Can't Update Xbox Mcx Kit. Xbox Live Fails

Since I now have a 360 running on my main display, I moved my ole XBox downstairs and bought the MCX kit for it.

It runs just fine, but... It fails to sign into XBox Live (Says Update Required). I've tried updating it via my MCE but it tells me I need an image file, which I don't seem to have.

Long story short... Anyone else delt with this before? I just want to get the XBox MCX updates to the current version so I can watch HBO et all.

Any Ideas Gang?
