I totally agree there is nothing close to XBMC. I recently got the elite xbox 360 and compared it with my older xbox with xbmc as the media center. The xbox 360 media center is NO where close to the functionality of the XBMC except that I can handle HD Streams. For now I have yet to see something better than the XBMC as a media app around the whole industry.

Have we made progress to port xbmc on the 360 yet? I have read speculations but nothing concrete. Besides I wouldn't want to mod my $450 investment and risk of live knockouts.
