Overheating Fix
« on: December 06, 2005, 03:39:00 AM »

heh some guy on slashdot metions maybe m$ should send all 360s owners a plastic plate that snaps to the bottom to a 360 and raises it off the ground a inch so the air can flow correctly. thats a friggen good idea. i think ill do that when i get my 360 sence it will be ontop of my tv i will make something like that for it. maybe 4 pices of wood set on all 4 corners and raise it up. problem salved lol and probly cost me 0$ sence i have spare wood laying around my basement probly cut some corners off a old 4 by 4.

This is exactlly why my 360 is horizontal. I had similar idea, but 4 small cubes of plexi or acrylic where the 4 little feet are. Maybe even put some led's to make it look sick. This would really help the airflow thru the bottom of the case when standing vertical.

I am just waiting for the Pelican Fan Stand to come out to snap on the bottom! But I play mine vertical with no overheating problems since I got my replacement.
