I just want the damn freebie remote so I can IR program it into my nice universal remote... I really don't want to buy MS's universal remote just for the IR signals, damn.  I guess I can always pick one up on ebay for cheap.

Just asked a stock boy at Best buy and he confirmed the shipment for Dec 16
I asked how many and he said he didn't know
looks like i'm waiting in line till they open

I doubt that many will have to "camp out" for the 18th, just becuase it isnt well know, but if bestbuys start telling everyone who walks in about it, it might be ugly.

Ill be showing up a couple hours early and stay in my car untill a line starts forming just in case.

Yeah they might come in but there still going to sell like hotcakes,I just payed 760.00 for my premium
and it sucks but its guaranteed to come but like all of you say waiting in line allnite on the 17 is kewl for thjose with nothing better to do,but I wish I could reverse my purchase and wait till the 18 but I can't now I guess I will get it put it on ebay get my money before the 18nad go pay retail price
