Gamespy Tunneling
« on: June 28, 2007, 08:17:00 AM »

Hi everyone!
I like playing on XLink and XBC but if you don't want to play Halo2 and all the other popular first person shooter it's hard to find players.

I heard about GameSpy and I'd relly like to test it. But I only a have a 6 year old notebook near my Xbox.
Only 1 GiB free space on my HD. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

So here's my question:

Is it easy to find players on GameSpy?
Are newer games supported?
How many space does it use on an HD?

Thx for you replies.

i don't think anyone uses gamespy plus they don't even have support for newer xboxs, they never bothered to add the new mac addy's .. IMO your wasting your time ..

heres the tunnel page .. http://www.gamespyar...nnel_xbox.shtml .. the link to the download is broken and have a look at the supported games list , they don't even have halo2 listed ..

but ya .. have fun :]

OK, I see. So I won't waste my disk space with it.

I thought it would be possible to play with PC players, but it isn't. So there's no reason to use it.
Thanks, for your reply.

the gamespy tunnel has been discontinued on rumours that M$ paid them off to stop its continuation and in return m$ pay gamespy tons in adverts on the site for xboxlive. so yeah your wasting your time now. once m$ touches another product they can do pretty much anything they want with it.
