And I'm dissapointed! At the cover it says halo 2 with huge amount of details but the 'details' suck. It is only one page for halo 2 and only 1 or 2 paragraphs text with pictures we've already seen numerous times.. I was hoping for more! Hell the ad for 'The Guy Game' on the next page is better than what they posted, pieces of shit! dry.gif At least I got my subscription for free!

yeah thats how they con newbs into buying there magazines. I dont see why anyone buys mags anymore (unless for the demos) when you can get the news the day its released on many game sites. Other then waiting a month for the news  rolleyes.gif

Conning? I wasn't conned into buying an EGM subscription. I love the magazine, and enjoy reading it. Maybe you can get the same information online.. but magazines are there to sit/lay down and relax while reading. Unless you are a computer couch potato, it's fun to get magazines.

I agree; it's fun to find out a new magazine in the mail. The articles are interesting; especially magazines that aren't made for little kids and are not afraid to shout out cuss words and display awesomely bloody images biggrin.gif

He probably meant Convince. A magazine is much better IMO (in my opinion).

Speaking of magazines, i enjoy Play magazine (Dave Halverson....the same guy who started Die Hard Game Fan mag and Gamers Republic) the most out of the video game magazines, and next would be Game Informer.

I love reading EDGE magazine, because i know they wont spoil the game for me by showing me the best bits of the game, Halo 2 especially I dont want to even know what any of the other single player levels look like until I actually play it.

That's where most of my magazine reading gets done.

This reminds me of a line from the movie Lost Boys where Grampa says "If you've got the TV Guide, you don't need a TV."   laugh.gif
