Finally some close up combat.  I didn't like the fact that the Halo 1 maps were huge and that made multiplayer gameplay very stagnant.  80 percent of the time your just running around not shooting anybody.  I hope the maps are like Quake 3; where everybody is up close and personal.  Can't wait for Doom3 either!!!

Don't worry, usually the downloadable XBL content can also be found in demo discs.

Didn't they say the gametype was an "invasion" type???  Meaning you go in, complete your objective, and get out?  If thats the case then I am sure the defending team has to hold off the offense for a certain amount of time before the game ends.

But either way, from screenshots in magazines and online, it seems that map size will vary from corridor combat to huge open levels.  I for one enjoy maps like Blood Gulch and Sidewinder, but can't stand maps like Prisoner or even Hang 'Em High.  But then again, I have friends that only wanna play those 2 maps.

Either way, to all his own, but I'm glad that Bungie is introducing many different game types, and a variety of map size in their next classic.

OMFG.  Very fast-paced.  I don't like how much text is on the screen though.  "Red flag dropped."  or when you're notified of who killed whom.  It's very PC-like.. I'm just concerned whether it will pollute the screen when it's split 4 ways.  But still...

OMFG.

Is it just me, or does the guy right in the beginning jump a very long distance?

Yeah man. I was thinking the same thing.

yea, i was watching it and was like....."you should have let TDT and STK duke it out, that would have been an aswome first time mulitplayer experience video

(for those that dont know, TDT (the dream team) and STK (shoot to kill) are two of the best halo teams to date)

It actually looks like the gravity has been turned down for the demo.  If you look closely you can see that guys fall from high places and don't get hurt and jump high enough to get over each others heads.

Curious eh?
