Halo 2 Pushback!

Just heard today, the final pushback for the release date of Halo 2.  Was at a game store when the person there said that Halo 2 will not be released until November 15 now.  They are waiting til then, so it's release will celebrate the 2 year anniversary of the release of the xbox.  Just so everyone knew.  This pisses me off.  We're waiting forever on this thing.

That sounds real enough but of course game stores are going to say it's coming as late as possible, so they increase their chance that you'll buy more games in the meantime wink.gif

There has NEVER been a release date for Halo 2!  It's all been just speculation.  The TENTATIVE release "date" was set for Autumn of 2004.

For those of us that are students of science we know that that could be anywhere up until December 21.

For those of use that are students of English we know that "tentative" means: Uncertain, not set in stone, hesitant.

BUNGIE HAS NEVER SET A RELEASE DATE!

Eh, I am sure that it will be good but I have given up on waiting for it.  My feelings now is that it will be out when it is out.  I do not watch the release dates as for bungie they have just become let downs on them.

At my work, we have the release date as Sep 1st, too.

Logic dictates that if Bungie wants to make a grip of money off it, It'll be released Sep/Oct and not later.

A MS birdie has told me that the single player mode is finished, and that the multiplayer is 90% done. He speculates it'll be done before the end of July, and then it's all about production.

Exactly.

They were taking pre-orders for Halo 2 at my local EB back in November quoting a release date of "April 1".

If Bungie doesn't say it, don't believe it.

what are the reasons of it being pushed back so many times?  glitches? bugs?  

when the final release comes out, will they be able to find ALL the glitches and bugs??  I hope its not another Tomb Raider: AoD.
