Because thats where id be voting. You cant make a best games thread, not unless you list every game made, it'd be much better if you made a favourite game genre thread, then no one will bitch saying they liked blah and why aint it on the list when you put blahblah there.

This best game threads normally get torn up with people complaining a certain game is missing, but you listed this crap game etc... There'll never be a perfect best game thread, whereas best genre would be easy to fit into the 10 polling spots you're allowed

1. HALO 2 : Earth Fights Back
2. HALO : Combat Evolved
3. Mechassault
4. Rainbow Six 3
5. Return To Castle Wolfestein
6. MM3
7. Unreal Championship
8. Fight Nigth
9. N.U.D.E (a little difficult , dont know too much JAP)

Kelly Slater Pro Surfer (I surf and am currently landlocked so this is my only fix)

Morrowind (This is a great "real" <vs. console style zelda/ffanstasy> RPG - once you get into it there's no turning back)

NCAA and Madden Football 2004

GTA Vice City (good story and good fun to just hack around)

Halo (a good console FPS)

-how hard would it have been to just convert the Halo Lan multiplayer games to internet over Live. Just make it more efficient over the net and throw in some extra stuff to make it even better. Everybody would have bought it in advance of Halo 2. How this escaped the MS business machine I'll never know.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I like platformers, and Oddworld was the best game ever. Perhaps too "childish" for some here, not enough guns'n'guts, but entertainment for us "oldsters", oh yes.
Apparently, the sequel is delayed as the company looks for another strategic partner after MS dropped out, even tho' it made MS loads of money

FPS: Halo.
Sports: FIFA 2004
Still not sure if I like Ninja Gaiden enough for it to rate it's rave reviews
