I don't mean to be a naysayer or negative in general.  I'm REALLY looking forward to Halo 2, just like everyone else.  However, I'm really sick of them releasing these super-glossy, high quality images from what look like cutscenes.  I guess a lot of people are easily impressed by flashy graphics.  Personally I don't care if the graphics are EXACTLY the same as the first game so long as there are tons of new multiplayer options, the same great level design for the multiplayer maps and a bunch of new options I hadn't even thought of.

Graphics!  Pfft!  Show me a list of new features/options over that any day.  Personally the thing I wanted the most (being able to play as Covenant forces in multiplayer) is far more exciting and impressive then yet another picture of Master Chief holding an assault rifle.

Yes, I have a GI subscription.  I've read the articles and I've been keeping up with things.  I'm just saying that I'm really not impressed by hi-res renderings of a red Master Chief shooting at a blue Master Chief.  Every game that comes out has a super flashy trailer.  I'm much more interested in gameplay improvements than in flashy graphics.

?  Those multi-player screenshots are not cut-scenes.  And even if they were, the cut scenes in halo are real time graphics, not some pre-rendered final fantasy shots.

I do agree with the screen shots are way too high res; halo2 will probably be only 480p; still crossing my fingers for 720p, though.
