"scripts Failed!" All The Time

Like the title said, every time that I try to run a plugin, I always have this error.

i would update xbmc and reinstall or update the scripts/plugins

I saw that it is a common problem. In fact, the error is caused by the plugins/scripts. I only installed those of the Addons4Xbox and they work.

Hey buddy, Good news is there is nothing wrong with your xbmc smile.gif bad news is that Alot of the old plugins don't get updated anymore, especially those on svn repo, as u said best thing to use is addon4xbox, good repos are xbmc.org addons, anarcintosh repo, wufclee repo and passions repo,  but again not even all the plug ins in these work, search for xbmc modules on google, make sure they are updated as this will help YouTube work and ice films

It was already mentioned twice, so I'll just provide a link.

Install the Addons4Xbox. It requires Xbmc4Xbox 3.0.1, or above. The latest stable, or SVN, will do.

From there, use the Addons4Xbox to install the Youtube plugin from the XBMC.org repo. You could also add the BlueCop repo, and install the Hulu plugin from that. Open the context menu on either installed plugin to change it's options, or login.

A better alternative to illegal downloading, Hulu is slowly being noticed by TV rating methods. Use those program hits to actually help support your favorites shows, and simultaneously reap the benefit of not having Java support in Xbmc. That means no commercials.  smile.gif

Considering that these are non-core, non-essential, plugins/scripts, then probably never.

Not to mention the plugin maintainers aren't part of the team who works on the xbmc4xbox itself, and they may (most likely) eventually be abandoned at some point. Or as these site's (Youtube, Hulu) standards keep changing, these plugins may just be implausible for the aging Xbox hardware.
