I don't know if you changing the name of the file will stop it from being read correctly in the library or getting file info from the net.

I would use as simple as possible. StarTrek.TNG.S01E01 would suffice.

I never rename my files, some show up with pictures, some don't. I really don't worry about it. I tried library mode, especially with the sopranos, due to the amount of shows. It was really helpful only showing unwatched episodes. It was a pain to set up for all shows I watch, so I end up watching the first few minutes of an episode in regular view to see if I have seen that episode.

Maybe someone can help with that aspect of it.
