"invalid Computer Name" Trouble With Smb Streaming

I have the pimped 9/15/07 version installed on my xbox right now and have run into some trouble while streaming anything really.

The stream randomly drops it's connection and returns to the menu, I've noticed this with video as well as music. The log spits back an "Invalid Computer Name" error whenever this happens. I've tried several fixes based on the searching I've done on the issue, which include:

Increased Samba Timeout
Increased Cache Size
Set the bookmark tag to use IP instead of the name of the computer

I have no firewall setup between the two and am doing it over a wired connection. Of what I've read they say to go back to a more stable version, but I'm not sure what version they are referencing. If anyone can tell me of a solution to this or the most recent "stable" version I would appreciate it.
