Volume Not Varying With Controls In Xbmc....
« on: June 13, 2007, 07:31:00 PM »

When watching a DVD, the volume output doesn't vary when you adjust the XBMC volume. It's either all the way off, or all the way up.

If I switch the audio to analog, it works like it's supposed to.

Is this just how it is? Or am I doing something wrong?

I didn't notice this until recently, but then again, I wasn't watching DVD's with it before.

It's meant to do that. It passes the digital signal to your receiver which should do a better job of decoding it than the xbox.

Gotcha.

Other than switching it to analog, is there a way around this?
