Xbmc Upnp With Windows Vista Rc 2

CODE
Run secpol.msc
Go to: Local Policies > Security Options

Find "Network Security: LAN Manager authentication level"
Change Setting from "Send NTLMv2 response only"
to
"Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated"

Vista defaults to only send the more secure NTLMv2 protocol, which  NAS devices / Samba(xbmc) do not support.

Or you can just wait until its not RC2 anymore... wink.gif

Might be the samba "fast query" problem then. The newest version of samba fixes this...whether xbmc supports it anytime soon...who knows...
