"invalid Computer Name"

When I launch XBMC and the try to acess My Music/My Videos/My Pictures it pauses and seems to try to connect to something and then an error message pops up saying "Invalid Computer Name" I then press B and am able to browse to my F Partiton and get tm my music/videos/pictures.  I assume its trying to connect to my computer but I have no idea How to stop or turn this off. I Dont need this because all i do is FTP my important files. Is there any way to shut this off or bypass this or even just set it so it runs and i dont have this lagg time?
Ive used the search and come up blank as well as asked some locals if then know how to fis this and they dont know either.  So thanks in advance!
