Subtitles Are Shown Ofscreen In Xbmc

the better part of the subtitles are shown ofscreen and i don't know how to change it. I tried everything in xbmc

Which XBMC version?  I'm pretty sure the last few versions have the option in screen calibration to do this.  Go the screen calibration and then hit A I think three times.  You'll see something you can adjust that is at the bottom of the screen.  That is for subtitles.
