Please check that the files are not OpenDML files - mplayer, and XBMC cannot handle these files.  If they are not OpenDML, try playing them from the XBox harddisk and see if they have the same problem.

BTW:  Modding an XBox + Timeshifting a TV show is fair use in the US, and is not illegal in many other countries.  Also, who said anything about using a stolen XDK?  Surely a second hand XDK (available off ebay for instance) would do the trick?

I just tried putting some on the xb hd and they do not work... So this means that they are OpenDML files...? Which means what, sorry, very green on this sorta thing... Thanks again.
