Just have to say the auto-scaling skin is awesome.  That was the only thing keeping me from replacing XBMP.  Now if only we can get the fast-forward and rewind buttons working from the remote, I'll be a happy camper.

Nah, I'm easy.  I like the sound quality alot better in XBMC and haven't run into any instances where AC3 is an issue yet.

QUOTE (Yoritomo @ Nov 5 2003, 02:43 AM)
Oddly enough XBMP hardly ever syncs correctly for me whereas XBMC syncs perfect everytime.  All my divx rips have AC3 with 3 frame interleave.

But in XBMP you can change the sync + or -. You cant do that in XBMC yet...

dacke, I dont mean to dis you, but if you have to use the audio sync option in XBMP or XBMC, then your movie encodes are not that great. Doesn't it suck to have to sync the audio in a movie before or during play.

Are you encoding these movies yourself? ph34r.gif

Yeah , my ac3 movies are not synced when streaming to the XBMC with relax. They are fine when playing on PC.

I have yet to try them with another stream server, or playing off the xbox HDD.

Has anyone tried the new cvs? It says there's a fix for the audio sync. I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

Hmmm, doesn't work for me. When I choose ac3 passthru my receiver doesn't detect it as ac3. Did in the last version, but it had the audio sync problem. Oh well.....
