get a ps/2 to usb adapter, they make them so you can connect both a keyboard and mouse to a single usb port

doesnt matter theres no keyboard support and if u cant get it to boot turn off IGR once i did that i was golden and i played around with it but i couldnt get the onboard screenboard unless theres a option in the control panel i didnt have time as i was using xbox as dvd player on hdtv and people wanted to get onto the next dvd this nye lol.

also on here once we get keyboard and mouse cursor we should be able to install pocketpc 2k2 and 2k3 apps. i think we can from what my uncle was saying as he was messed with CE and PocketpC

I've disabled IGR through the dashboard and put the "x2_IGR_disabled" file onto my E: drive as specified by the Xecuter web page but I still get the single Red Flash and then flashing Green LED on the XBOX when trying to run Windows CE.

Perhaps IGR has to be totally disabled in the bios as well (i.e. flash a bios with that feature killed).

Or is there a different way to disable IGR on X4977?

I can't get it to boot, either. Believe me, I followed directions to a 'T'. No IGR, remove controller as soon as I press A to launch, and Usb mouse plugged in (w/ homemade cable...) in controller port one with no DVD dongle. It just stays black.

Oh well, I'll keep playing with it.

Then I'll try to run WinCE again.   :D   :P

First... for those who like to follow my posts on the forums.. i appologize for posting this in some obscure, pointless thread with a bunch of newbs screaming falsities at eachother for 4 pages.

Second...  Windows on the xbox is not only possibly... i was actually suprised at how easy it was.

Granted, there's still some work to be done to get it all prettified.

And the legalities... sheesh, dont even get me started.

But, it's certainly doable... and here shortly, im sure everyone will be doing it. ;-)
