Newbie Chat / Dashboard Replacement...
« on: March 07, 2006, 01:18:00 PM »
the matrix screen is from the mxm dash used in the ltools installer. It should only boot to that with open dvd tray.
Apart from the fact that ltools is heavily outdated I think the dash location of it is in E:\dashboard which means you can simply replace those files with xbmc and your xbox will boot to that.

Newbie Chat / Is MS Using Us?
« on: December 13, 2005, 01:03:00 PM »
this must be one of the worst conspiracy theories I've ever heard. I'm sure they would fix things if there are weaknesses that can easily be fixed. I really don't see how this relates to shortages or christmass or whatever.

Interesting. Since you've soldered it to the ground wire what happens if you touch the methassis?
It seems the capicity from your finger influences the 68nF cap. maybe we need an adjustable cap around 68nf to find a sweet spot.

« on: November 28, 2005, 02:04:00 PM »
I have hope. Maybe not much but we gotta have some don't we. I agree lots has got be learned about the hardware but discussion about ANYTHING might lead to interesting stuff and it doesn't harm if like 90% of it is useless..

I wouldn't trust anything they say. Also I would wait another couple of months till v1.3 in where they put their other stolen code to play single layer discs. Otherwise you poor people keep buying new chips.
