are you doing it as mixed udf? i've been having problems burning anything for a while and i think it's because i walked away for so long that the burn settings i was using aren't in my newer software and i seem to recall that if it is burned as mixed data UDF or something along those lines, it simply won't work.
i seem to remember that this was an issue for some folks recently. try different software and see if it will let you change it
