Title: Ps3 Slim - No Power At All, No Lights. Totally Dead

hey guys
i need some help in diagnosing what may be wrong with my ps3.

A coupe of days ago, I was watching an episode of Mad Men on Netflix via my ps3. All of a sudden, the ps3 suddenly shut off. It made a noise similar to what a computer would make if there was a power outage and power was abruptly cut. My tv was still on, so I knew it wasn't a power outage. After my ps3 turned off, there was no red standby light or anything at all, despite it still being plugged in.

I then tried using a different power cable and different outlets in my house, but no power at all. The red standby light wouldn't even turn on, it was like the ps3 was completely dead.

I think the power supply is the problem but I'm not completely sure.

Any suggestions on what to do?
