Did you find out any than about this? I want to use the LPT
The LPT should be possible, as the points are the same as on a coolrunner ( http://www.instructa...-program-cable/ ). I just ordered the programmer however as it's one less thing to go wrong on a first install, plus there's supposed to be a boot time optimization feature accessible only through the programmer.
Why use LPT just get a USB programmer. If it doesnt get programmed right youre gonna have one more thing to worry about when it's not glitching
