Title: Delete Live! Updates Without Profile Delete?
Post by: masterofdragons on December 31, 2005, 04:19:00 AM
Is it possible for me to delete the automatic updates that were downloaded when I used Xbox Live via FTP or something?  I would really like to be able to do the money glitches, and seeing as how I use XLink and XBC now its not really possible for me to do the garage glitch.  If anyone has any links or info it would be appreciated.  Deleting the whole profile really isn't an option, as I have almost 300 cars and thousands of tunes.

just for anybody that wants to know

save your game save from forza 4b53006e i think

create a new game save with the same name as before

now if you check in the directories one will contain your money and your cars
just copy this directory across

Thank god it worked or 3 month work would be lost

Make sure you delete x y and z

Simply delete default.xbe in the TDATA/4d53006e/ folder. It's actually in a subfolder of that directory, but easy to find.

Don't know how this got dug up again, but just incase anyone is still wondering how, here it goes.  Just go to E:/TDATA/4d53006e (via FTP of course).  You will see two folders.  All you have to do is remove the $u folder.
