Title: Help With Backing Up Games To Hdd (games Freeze)

I have a 1.6 xbox with a Xenium ICE mod and EvoX bios with EvoX dashboard.
I have used DVD2XBOX to copy the games to my HDD (Seagate 160gig 2mb cache), the games worked before I upgraded my HDD but now that the drive is an aftermarket one all the games freeze up at the main menu where they say "press start to continue"
Has anyone ever heard of this happing before?  I tested the following games on the stock HDD (one at a time due to space issues) HALO2 and GhostRecon2.
Anyone have any ideas??

did you try clearing you're cache files?
do you're backups on dvd work at all?

I have never tried a burned game, only backups to the hdd, what I dont get is why a new hdd would cause them all to freeze up.
I just trying a retail game and it freezes too, what would happen if the D0 wire came undone?  Could this cause the freezing?

Same problem with Amped2 and a new 80 Gb hd.

There's some files cached on E somewhere that need deleting; I know I saw a post somewhere.

This is a common problem lately due to xboxhdm leaving files in the cache that interfere with some games. To get rid of the problem delete the contents of E:\cache, X, Y and Z
