Hey
I will be fixing a friends failed xbit 1,5 mod attempt shortly, I have never modded a console with an XBIT...
i have looked at the install pages, and seems easy enough, just need to clarify a few software questions:


Can it be flashed with the lates X2_5035 bios, or does it need to be an earlier bios?
can i flash via http, or does it need to be via usb?

Xbit can only be flashed via USB, and yes, the latest x2 bioses can be used, but not the X3.
