in your file manager try going to the default.xbe of any emulator that dosent work and see if it will start that way.

ok im presuming you are burning the emulators and roms in the form data discs and then putting them onto your hdd.
try converting each emualtor with their roms into an xbox iso with qwix and then burning them to disc with dvd decryptor,burn at slowest setting.

you can download qwix here,this will convert your files into a xbox iso.

then once you have your iso use dvd derryptor to burn the iso to dvdr,burn at the slowest speed 1x.

they should copy over onto your xbox hdd after this or just play them off your xbox dvddrive.
put the emulator and roms onto the disc.

well on the plus side, i tried that and it worked perfectly with coinops! which is excellent, so thankyou very much!

unfortunately, surreal64 v1.0 still refuses to work. i found it on a popular mirc channel so i guess its a good copy. tomorrow i'll try v2.0.

does surreall not load up at all??
if it does load up and you hve the roms in the rom folder then hit the y button on your controller and let it scan for the roms.
