oh k just a question with the chip installed when it goes straight into the MS dash

how are you starting the xbox power button or eject button??

How do I upgrade to the latest XOS2? I burned the iso's from the site onto a cd-rw, and I put it in my xbox, and nothing happens. It still brings up the "Loading...HALT!".

I did exactly what you said Rabid1, and nothing worked. I put the chip switch on recovery mode, not on the black part, and powered on the xbox. Pushed the eject button and put my dvd-r in there, with the 2.3.0 recovery bios, and some video files, and it still went to "Loading...HALT!". The eject led was green, then flashing orange, then solid red. Those colors were the case when I put the switch back to normal, not on recovery mode.
