you mean the power brick, or the just the cord that goes from the wall to brick?

if its just the cable from the wall to the brick, those are all the same, its just an extension cord basically, my xbox uses one from an old box fan, and my PS3 uses one from power drill charger lol

Um, I just have the cable from the ps2 that plugs in to the outlet, because I lost my gamecube's power cable.
Is it okay to use the same cable in the gamecube?

Are you missing the power converter (THE BRICK) for the game cube?

Is your PS2 cable from a FAT (OLD) PS2 with just a straight A/C to A/C cord OR a SLIM (NEW) PS2 with a A/C to D/C converter?

If you've got power brick for a SLIM PS2 then it needs to match the voltage requirements of the GameCube.

Amperage can be as high as you want as the console will only draw as much power as it needs - unless there is a problem. Too much voltage can damage something just as well as too little, though too little usually just means it won't power up.

The slim uses 8.5v and the Cube seems to use 7.5v, don't do it.
