How can a PMT be tested without testing it on a Lite-On drive (for safety)? I just made mine but I have not have a Lite-On drive at this moment.

It's a pretty simple piece of kit, I'm not sure how much testing you can do until you give it a go.

Does the switch break the 3.3v line?
Does the GND connect to Pin 6?

Just a quick one. Does the pogo mo thoin probe do the 7,8 & 9 series liteon, or do you still need the serial cable to do the 7 series?

All lite-on's can be done this way.

Just did this for a 93450c.. it worked, sort of.. getting the open tray error after flashing it to LT+. I confirmed the key is legit by flashing it to my ms28. Worked like a champ. Reflashed the 93450c several times with no luck. I am afraid I fried this pos drive but at least I got the key.. if anyone has any tips let me know. I'll probably order another drive(Benq or Samsung) in the next few days.

Made my own guide for doing this with Xecuter Connectivity Kit v2. Also elaborating several aspects that Team Xecuters post does not include for those who are interested:
