I just got back from Iraq the other day, and my xbox didn't make the journey apparently. This has happened before and all i had to do was reseat the chip and reinstall the bios and everything would work again. However, this time it boots to the XBOX screen and no bios comes up and it goes to the error screen. Problem being, the error screen has no number, It's completely generic. I check the bios on the chip and it checks fine. If the chip is still unseated then wouldnt it boot to the msdash? Whats going on???

What about with the chip removed? Does the xbox boot normally then (if your hard drive is unlocked then an error 5 would be considered normal)
