Well ones a dual cathode, and the other is a single. What do you want? Do you want it for the fan or the cathode or both?

I use a single UV cathode in mine, however it is not bright by itself. Remember, it needs something to floresce - it's a "black light". So, having said that, what kind of jewel are you wanting to light up?

The clear standard xbox jewel has no florescing properties by itself.

this may sound a little weird, but i have an idea of how to make the jewel glow with the blacklight underneath it.  just get a little semen and wipe it all over the jewel.

seriously though, don't.

I just want the UV color under the jewel. Because of other UV reactive things on the xbox.

Its not for the jewel by itself to light up

UV doesn't really have much of a color, and there is nothing else on the xbox that is reactive.

If you want just the UV light, use the dual cathode.

I still am not sure about his whole project but its  a big one. Will post pics when im done.

My next one is gonna have a purple scheme, there is a paint that glows under blacklight and im gonna dip the jewel in it.  Gonna look damn good.

Hahhaha, didnt even read the post above mine...yes you can.  I saw it a while ago.  They had a gel and a clear paint.  Made stuff bright like hell under the blacklight!
