Im just asking, but, why would you want to be able to use the buttons when you are programming your macro?

Macro programs moves.

With most controllers u hit macro and then hit another button to do a move like "<> A" or whatever u program it to do.

So i don't think what u want is possible. But i don't know your controller

Since with most programmable controllers there are multiple macros. So it needs A B X Y for your different macro choices.

Like
Macro A = "<>A"
Macro B = "<<A"
and etc

It's because when I play Halo and I want to crouch, it's hard to don't move while sniping and crouching, so I want to use the macro button to let my character crouch and snipe at the same time.
