Make Backup Of Xbox Game 5.80 Gigs

To all..

Just got a new xbox game and wanted to make an emergency backup. However, this game is 5.80 gigs. Do I need to use a DVD + R Double layer dvd disc and burn using a Double Layer DVD burner or is there a way to compress the 5.80 ISO file and burn to a standard 4.7 gig DVD? Is there another procedure on how to get this on a standard DVD?

Please check out the extensive tuts all over this site to get a detailed answer to your question. This type of question is asked over and over. Now to try to answer, it depends on the game. For example Ninja Gaiden contains many Japanese movies that you don't need and can delete to get the filesize down to fit on a dvd-r.
Look for the "games taking up too much space thread" and it will explain  what you need to know.
