So... let me understand, you're able to install any distro or only Ubuntu? It recognizes every hw of the 360 like the hdd, vga etc? So you can play divx, surf the net? I'm sorry for my stupid questions but i'd like to understand if the hacking atm, excluding the difficulty to install linux on the new kernel, is complete thanks to the OS on the console. Thanks for your help! Your job is completely amazing!

Great news, I knew it wouldn't be long before someone coded a disc so you don't have to use serial.  biggrin.gif

So Does This Require The EU PAL disk, or The US NTSC One?

Wow!

This is truly beautiful.

However I have a samsung and lack the hardware knowhow for the serial mod, but I have the right kernel ;D. With the amount of artfully brilliant coding lately, I won't be surprised if there's soon a live disk for sammies. *fingers crossed*

Out of curiosity is it known why the samsung can't do it currently?

you can install to hdd? AWESOME!! how do you get it to boot from the hdd?

Now I need to go home and check what kernel I have now thats there is no need for soldering a serial connector.

I'm in the same boat, exploitable kernel but a TS drive...

If anyone wants me to test anything on my box just say the word!
