Hey guys, first of all happy new year to everybody! ok on topic now, I have UnleashX currently installed on my xbox...I wanted to know how can I "replace it" with XBMC without losing any of my data or settings?

Install XBMC in any directory edit your unleashx config files and launch it as a application. UnleashX has its own forum here btw.

Well, call me an idiot but I couldn't find the edit button...anyway, XBMC shortcut creator is not option for me since I'm using Linux...and the second part requires me to have modchip pretty much and I have a sotmodded Xbox...and oh yeah, I put the topic here and not on the official UnleashX forum because it was more related to XBMC...maybe I should've named the topic something else...

find where your dashboard launches from and replace you unleashx files with xbmc files and rename default.xbe for xbmc to whatever the unleashx xbe file was called.
