Can't Connect To Xbox Via Ftp
« on: March 30, 2006, 12:26:00 AM »

Well, more and more lately I've wanted to through my xbox out the window and onto the pavement.  The latest problem is that I can't connect to Avalaunch via FTP.  It actually isn't just avalaunch, but there was no section that I could find that would be appropriate for this, and I use avalaunch for FTP so I thought this would be the best place to post this question.

Whenever I try to connect to my xbox via FTP I get a Session terminated error, and I get it immediately.  There is no pause, or wait time before I get that error, it is returned within one second.  Does anyone have any idea what this is?  I'd like to backup my xbox HDD so I can format the bastard and get it to actually work, but I won't be able to do that if this doesn't work.  At least not without taking the xbox apart again, and I don't feel like doing that.  If anyone has any clue as to what could possibly be going on, please let me know.

Thanks.

I almost forgot to mention that the reason I know it isn't related to the FTP client I'm using is because I've tried two different FTP clients.  The built in windows FTP client, and Smart FTP.  Also, I used to be able to use both of those FTP clients to access my xbox.
