Spitwad, does 480p look good as well? I have heard that when the lcd has to scale the resolution down that the screen looked blurry.

I have an X2VGA+ and a 2001FP, 480p and 720p turned on. Burnout 2 and PGR2 have horizontal lines rolling up the screen - that's all I've tried so far. Any ideas guys?

Burnout 2 and Project Gotham Racing 2 only support 480p.

Try turning off 720p in dash and see if that changes anything.

If not, check dip switch settings on x2vga.

Also make sure you're using a good quality shielded VGA cable and that it isn't running near anything that generates a strong electrical field.

If you still have problems, email x2vga about possible service/replacement.

Thanks man. I tried putting it on 480p only, and playing with dip switch 4, but there's still those rolling lines, however feint, and my eyes hurt after not long.

The VGA cable came with my 2001FP and I'm sure it's OK because Amped 2 and THUG look beautiful in 720p, which seems to work perfectly (but those same games still have the 'rolling' in the background on 480p when I disable 720 in the dashboard. Grr.)

Am I expecting too much? It IS now quite feint (after dip switch playing) but it's DEFINITELY there... even my non-techie housemate can see it if he stares at one area.

Get in touch with Neoya.  They should either fix it or send a replacement.  Mine has no symptoms like that at all.

I just got the 2001fp and love it.

I'm considering getting the VGA pack, but I wanted to check and make sure of something first.  There is no way to send progressive output over s-video cable is there?  Does it only support interlaced?

Because it would rock if I could just use the s-video input on the monitor coming from the advanced a/v pack

catgut thanks for the shots, any change I could see what it looks like compared to the 480i on that monitor?

thanks

I haven't made the time to make any comparison shots yet.  I've been working on getting my xpod finished up.
