Ok, You've Always Wanted Something From The Scene

As shown on the xbox-scene front page, the neo group is trying to find the xbox private key.  This will allow the running of programs on un-modded machines.  All you have to do is install a program on your computer that runs behind the scene if you wish it so.  The program can be set to use ONLY the amount of cpu power that your computer isn't using!  So basically, no slowdown in computer power for you.  I set it to use 100% of my unused cpu power.  Let's all unite together in this and give something back to the scene.  Let's show MS that it can NOT stand in our way!  Tell everyone you know about this.  Install it on your friends pc's, at libraries and anywhere else you want!  there's an option for it to run hidden.

Download the program here:
http://downloads.xbo.../neo600full.zip

Once you run it, in a drop down menu at the bottom, choose "xbox public key challenge".

Show me and everyone else what you've got!  I want every one of you to do this.  I'm sure you will.  Good luck to all.  Let us pray that this will happen.  It's time once again for us to assert our power.  MS had gained the upperhand with XBOX LIVE, but let's show it that we don't need modchips to use their service.  Power to the People!

Peace

Also, as a reminder.  There is a $100,000 reward.  80% of it will go to a charity of your choice if your computer is the one to crack it.  You will get $10,000.  And Neo group will get $10,000 for hardware upgrades.  Your favourite charity will get $80,000!  This money will benefit your charity.  It is for a good cause both personally, and as a group.

I am honestly serious about this post, and don't want any criticism of it.  Many people are going to say it can't be done because it will take so much time, but if we all unite as one and spread the word, I am POSITIVE we can do it!

Don't forget about the consequences of doing this......more lazy butt noobs......

I personally think this will do more harm than good to the scene.....please just think about it.....Im not saying do or don't do it. Just think about it before just doing it

no, you can't get a class lower than matrix noobies.  but in any case, i wouldn't mind the n00bs ONE BIT if they helped out with this!  i think help with this would be easier than help with matrix anyways.

IF your account is logged in, yes.  goto:  www.theneoproject.com.

somewhere on the right it mentions how to run the program as a system service.  doing that will make sure it always runs no matter who is using the pc.  smile.gif  i have it set up on all my home pc's under invisible mode.

I'd like to help but none of the links you gave work and the neo site is down?  Any ideas?

Nevermind, it's back up now!

you can digitally sign your own progs./games.  meaning backups on xbox live without a modchip.

as for a link, here's one i made with an instruction manual.

What's with the .cfg file?  What's it do?  Why do I have to replace the original?
