Quantum Redshift, Kelly Slater...
« on: September 24, 2002, 07:07:00 AM »

It's fairly fun and decent... a cross between SSX Tricky and Wipeout XL if you ask me...

...once again... why they didn't include online support is a mystery to me...

The surfing game is pretty cool... water effects are not all that great, and gameplay looks like it could get old very quick... it's certainly no Tony Hawk.  You can't even use your own soundtrack, and the included songs are not very good...

Yet again, I really can't complain about price, though... great deals on the games!!!;)

Robotech Battlecry... I'll be trying that out tomorrow night...

I am a huge WipeOutXL junkie and have to admit that QRedshift got my hands sweating and my heart pumping at times...

Its an eye candy masterpiece, is this thing using every xbox trick?

The story didn’t get me involved and the cut scenes remind me of bad DOA3 outakes.
The music.... well I like techo but
some of the tracks just grind in a bad way.
But is does support xbox ripped sound tracks.
and what, No cheers from the crowded Stadium?
It doesn’t do much to build an atmosphere.

Overall I would like to see a QR2 with net play, more diversified tracks and a story thats well.... better....

Cant wait to play RoboTech...

Robotech is not all that bad... better than I feel the review that Gamespot had for it.
