Seems like the media you're using isn't suited for Xbox 360 games. Though it's weird, because I've never experienced any problems with Verbatim.

Some lasers are more picky about burned media than others, try a POT tweak on it or replace the laser with a new one.

Unplayable Disk Problem

This may sound a little weird, but I get that message sometimes too. I keep my 360 opened up, as in not case and the disk drive not screwed closed so I can pull it right off. when I get the message I just take the top of the dvd drive off and the disk isnt spinning. I open and close the drive and kinda jump start the disk with my finger. The disk starts to read and everything is fine.

I do have a problem with another 360 though, it always says to play this disk insert it into an xbox 360 console. I havnt taken it apart, so its still under warranty, but only the 3 red light warranty. I guess I need to get the 3 red lights so they can fix it for free.
