ok so i had a v 1.5 xbox and the power supply went bad we kept on resoldering it and it just got worse so what i want to konw is was it somthing on the main board? and should i buy another pwr supply
(ive already got 1 xbox i wanna make 1 look like a 360)

my xbox power supply went i want to know is it my motherboard that caused it? the mainboard doesnt smell burnt...

main board wont ever cause damage to a psu w/o doing damage to itself. if ever

Shotgun all the capacitors and replace them. Cheap as chips take the PSU into the shop and they will help ya out.

Done it to many PSU's for friends should cost around $15.
