I use desolder braid to desolder 1.0 lpc's however  i would like to use a desolder iron. The one listed above is 45 watts (hotter than i would generally want to use on a mobo).

Is anyone using this with success?

i use that desoldering iron quite a bit, works great for me.  tips do wear out with use so buy a few extras with it.

I have the same one and I love it. Makes quit work of desoldering
 Not bad for LPC clearing if you dont dilly dally on the points to long.
