I have the same modem and firmware, no problems here have you turned off firewall in wrt ?

Check the DNS on the 360. It should be the same as the Default Gateway's IP address. More than likely 192.168.1.1 if you did not change the routers defaults.

I was having the same problem.  I fixed it by setting the xbox 360 to a static IP.  Just set the xbox to 192.168.1.249 or something like that.  All you really need to do it keep it out of the range of all of the other devices on your network.  Oh, and I changed my DNS, but that was more because Verizon FIOS DNS suck big ole donkey penis.  I changed my DNS to 4.4.4.2 and 4.4.4.3.  Those are the fastest DNS servers I have found.

I too was running into the same problem. I found I had to set both the IP and DNS static servers. It does not connect if you have Static IP address and Dynamic DNS servers
